I know you're probably tired of hearing about Coronavirus and it's impact, but I just wanted to keep you up-to-date with how it is affecting (and not affecting) Wild Strings.
I am currently still running as normal (pretty much) as I work from home, by myself. I have a back-stock of fabrics so can continue to create new designs and upcycled pieces. I know it may seem crazy but I will still be adding things to the shop every now and again, because I think it's important to keep some version of normality!
You can still order from the online store; I will be posting any orders out once a week to limit contact and exposure and to protect myself and others. This means there will be a slight delay with delivery times but I will keep in contact with you and let you know each stage of your order and what delays you can expect.
In the meantime I will keep sewing and creating. I will also be keeping a more up-to-date blog of my experiences of social distancing and self-isolation as well as some creative 'how-to' guides on upcycling and creating at home! You can find the blog here or sign up to the newsletter to get it straight to your inbox.
I am using the brand to try and do some good and have begun making and selling face masks. All profits from the sale of these masks will go to NHS Charities to help those on the front line of the crisis. You can find out more and shop here.
I am also trying to donate as many masks as possible to those in need so if you know (or are) any care homes/hospices/key workers in need please get in touch with me. There is more info on our policy page and here is some advice from the CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention).
I will try and keep this page updated frequently, so you always know what's happening in this Wild world!
Love Eleanor x
